Dare to Hope

Chris and Samuel. They met eight months before and Chris never called Samuel after that. They have a sort of story told in a 'Dare to risk #1' and there is a reason Samuel waited for Chris his action. I didn't read that one but after a while I sorted things out.

One lives in New York and the other in New Zealand.
After eight months Samuel gets a phone call from Chris. He wants to come over to sort things out. But it's a whole different story then 'sorted things out'

Let me begin to say they have a complicated relationship. It's not alone about two men because they have friends and they play a big part in this story.

Samuel gives many signals.....yes...no...yes...please....no...come here...go away... And Chris on his part didn't want to settle and does want to settle. It's a complete mess.
Well.....Chris was a complete mess. Wronged terrible by his awful parents.
And.....he has found a devastating way to release himself from the pain inside.

Their relationship is somewhat confusing (certainly for themselfs)....one minute they talk about a 'together' another minute one talks about starting a company in another part of the world....and not together..
They are in their thirties and really immature. Running away, slamming doors, shouting names.
No clear decisions were made. All confusing.
Chris feels he never can be enough for Samuel in this state of mind and Samuel thinks Chris will never make up his mind about staying or leaving. They have it hard to bond.

All the friends have a inflammable relationship together. From fighting to loving.
But after struggling for ages they finally get what they want.

A somewhat chaotic read with lots of dialogue and plenty of disagreements.
The core was good, the characters made it entangled, explosive and combustible.
A good read with lots of dynamic.
