Puppies!
Who can resist a good story about two men and their puppy?
Christopher has just broken up with his boyfriend; and let me tell ya, he's the worst kind of person. I really really really was disappointed that they didn't see him a year later and rub it in that he was happy and healthy and in love AND had his dog back; because the ex obviously had something to do with his running away. It was just heartbreaking too, Christopher coming home to him missing and going through the heartbreak of losing such an important part of your life.
I know some people don't understand; some people aren't "animal people". But, it would be awful.

Doyle has lost his husband of 22 years; of course he's distraught and the house is to quiet. He decides to rescue a dog and would you know it. He finds Jack, which is Christopher's Frost. A year later they run into each other and an emotion reunion it was! I hated it for both of them, of course it would be impossible to make the puppy choose who he wanted to live with but of course he stays with Doyle for a bit but every time Christopher leaves, you can see how badly Frost misses him; he spends his time just waiting for him to come back. But then when Doyle gives him back, Jack just waits for Doyle to come back.... What to do , what to do?

Deciding to share custody of the puppy means they'll be seeing a lot of each other; and of course they're going to fall for each other, especially when they've got the cute little puppy pushing for them.
This was an incredibly cute story; I thought it was a little fast and a little cheesy, but it was worth it. Very cute!

I have enjoyed a great many stories by BG Thomas, so it was inevitable that I would read his contribution to Dreamspinner Press' 2015 Daily Dose 'Never Too Late'. I'm a firm believer, based on my own love story, that it really is never too late for love and romance. 'Until I Found You' is just another shining example of why.
I would've reacted exactly the same way Christopher did upon coming home and discovering his front door unlocked, and Frost, his white Pomeranian gone. The fact that Christopher is almost positive his nasty ex did something, or is somehow responsible, makes it even worse. Personally, I would've done something reprehensible to the ex, but Christopher is nicer than I. In the end, after weeks of no Frost, Christopher can only hope someone nice found Frost and took him in.
Doyle has just lost his husband and finds himself, inexplicably at an animal rescue. There he meets a sad, gorgeous Pomeranian, named Jack. “He’s…. He’s so sad,” Doyle whispered. “Yes,” the woman agreed. “Some dogs, when they are separated from their human, they just pine away. Die of grief.” Die? thought Doyle. Die? His heart jerked, and he shook his head.\" It was a fortuitous meeting between Doyle who needed someone to love, and help him from his grief, and Jack, who was desperately grieving his loss and needed someone to love.
Oh, I loved this story! I particularly liked the cunning way Jack/Frost (ha) played a wonderful little matchmaker. Christopher and Doyle were perfect for each other, and it just took a tiny little dog to bring them together. Yep, definitely my kind of love story. Plus, Doyle and Christopher are both sexy, and have yummy chemistry. And, as I knew the author would do, there is more to this story than just two men and a dog. So, what more could you ask for? Thank you, Ben, for another gem by you.

Oh my goodness! I am in love! I have fallen in love with the sweet and smart Frost or Jack or is it Jack Frost? :) The cute white Pomeranian is cupid in disguise, I just know it.
The four legged cupid is needed by both Christopher and Doyle. It's a good thing that when Christopher lost him, it was Doyle who adopted him and took care of Frost/ Jack.
I love how the little dog brought together these two men, needing and loving both of them. It's amazing that the love of a dog can bring people together to love each other and heal their hearts.
This was such a great story!! The only thing I was disappointed in was there wasn't any nasty people getting their comeuppance ;) And boy does he deserve it!
