BAMF

At first I stared at this title. BAMF. White the heck does that even mean? The thought to google it never occurred to me. I decided its SJD Peterson, so its guaranteed to be hot and I haven't read an SJD book that wasn't good so I took the chance and am so glad I did. I absolutley adored Alex and Ridley. The story started out one way and I'm thinking a college boy, coming of age, sexy librarian, Alex coming to his defense etc then BAM! there was a big twist and I was in for one heck of a surprise. A very pleasant one.

The story was funny in places, the two men had so much chemistry, add in some suspense, intrigue, and don't forget the hot, very hot man-sex.

If you like very spicy MM stories, humor and lots of action, bedroom and otherwise I highly recommend this book.

I must confess that I didn't liked Alex very much in the beginning of this story but yeah, he warmed up to me and I really loved this book.. Great book!

Good story, both Ridley & Alex were engaging characters (Ridley even moreso since it's from his POV) and the sex was H.O.T. HOT!!!!!
While there was a titch of something off for me about the believability of Alex's past, I still enjoyed the book and would recommend it.

Things aren't always what they seem in this story. Geeky librarian pursued by tattooed, pierced, fauxhawk sporting bad boy. So many of my buttons pushed right in that sentence. Add in a few twists, snarky banter and some rough sex (and few more buttons are pushed) and you have BAMF. Not going to give anything else away here, but the immediate aftermath of that first sex scene was one of my favorites and I'm surprised I haven't seen it before.

I'm going to be honest here and tell you I had to google the meaning of BAMF. And, no, I'm not telling what it is, look it up yourself. Needless to say, during my read, both Ridley and Alex could've held the title of BAMF. What's even better is that I had no clue what direction the author was taking me. It made the journey even more exciting than I could've possibly imagined. So, if I forget to tell you, Jo Peterson, I had a really good time reading this book. Yeah, yeah, I stole the line and changed it a little. Sue me.
Ridley knows he's a BAMF. He despises bullies and has no problem jumping into a fight. With his tattoos and piercings, Ridley certainly looks the part. So, you can imagine his surprise when the cute library assistant whom Ridley has been watching *cough stalking cough* turns out to be nothing like Ridley assumed. Then again, you know what happens when you assume. Ridley takes one look at the blond curls, the loose clothing, the glasses, and Alex's job at the library, and figures this is a guy who got bullied and needed Ridley's protection. Nothing could have been farther from the truth. Ridley gets his first eye-opener when he and Alex hook up one night, and Alex completely dominates Ridley and leaves him bruised, sore, aching, and loving the best sex he's ever had. Then Ridley jumps in to help Alex in a five-to-one fight only to discover Alex can more than handle himself. So, who is Alex? Really?
I would love to be able to tell you what I discovered about Alex. But I can't. It's a huge spoiler and would totally ruin your enjoyment if you knew beforehand. Believe me when I say it's exciting, it's fun, it's death-defying, and there's a lot of action. Oh, wait, that's the sex. The mystery about Alex is pretty fun, too, though. *smirk* An enjoyable read from Ms Peterson that I can easily recommend.
