I really enjoyed this story, although sometimes I think Ben was an idiot it really made the story move. So looking forward to the next one!

Judging a Book by it's Cover:
Not a fan of these bland covers. Synopsis sounds good. Reading as a full series in anticipation of the finale's release.
Looking Deeper:
Alternating first-person POV, clearly marked and easy to follow.
Scott is a young, naive, home-schooled virgin, lured into an online relationship with an entity in the UK. After his eighteenth birthday, this entity known only as JeffUK sends him a passport, 2-year visa, and a one-way first class ticket to come to England, saying all the right things to lull Scott into a false sense of security - a security that is immediately shattered when no one is at the airport waiting for him and his mad dash to freedom left him only the clothes on his back and a few measly dollars.
Bartender Ben discovers the distraught young man and decides the boy needs protection and someone to care for him until things get figured out, but with all of the other responsibilities that Ben is currently facing, he does not think he'd be capable of adequately providing for Scott although they seem to have bonded and need each other equally.
This is not a perfect pairing, there are so many missteps and flaws. Ben can be a colossal jerk at times, Scott can be whiny and juvenile. Both have a lot of growing and learning to do, together and apart. Secondary characters are primarily those that were introduced in the previous books, but a few fresh cast members were also present. Dialogue is strong and believable. The interplay between cast is natural. The plot on this one really sucked me in and held me, even though both lead men made me want to scream at them on occasion, the story - for being the first collaboration effort of Ms Wells and Mr Williams - was incredibly smooth. I enjoyed, in particular, the banter of English/American word play.
There were a few self-imposed conflicts, set by Ben, but also the abhorrent parents to contend with. Resolutions were not easily or neatly found; these two really mucked things up before finding their way, and not just once. There were a few surprises in the mix - not too much predictability. The conclusion is solid enough, but I hope to read more of their story as the series continues.
At this point, I'd almost have to say that I'd recommend this book to be read as part of the series, and read in order... the story lines and couplings can stand alone, however, the timeline is much more fluid and cohesive when read in order.

I was really worried by Scott and all his online experience of meeting a guy from another country and being \"invited\" to go live with Jeff in UK... But then, when I though things would really get bad for Scott, he met Ben...
Ben is a Dom in training at Collars and Cufs and he let's Scott live with him temporarilly until a better solution if found for Scott.
I must confess that I wanted to hit Ben upside the head a lot of times, to make him see what was right in front of him, and that Scott was perfect for him.
Even wanting to strangle Ben a few times (hehehe), I loved this story and how Scott and Ben found their way into a relationship.

I admit that I had great expectations for this story since I was curious about Ben as a Dom. I can't say that I loved every aspect of this story, but the concept and the characters were some of my favorites.
Ben was an interesting mix of confident and clueless. He knew what he wanted and he had learned from one of the best how to be a Dom, yet he didn't notice what was in front of him from the very beginning. You have no idea how many times I felt the need to shake some sense into him. Yes, I understood where he was coming from and why he thought Scott could do better but it still some of his behavior annoyed me. The jury is still out on him--I can only forgive him so many times! Maybe if his motives were not about money and some of his other complexities would have made it to the page I could have come to overlook some of the stuff he did. And that's only as a person, because what little I saw of him as a Dom, didn't impress me much. I believe that it would have helped if I could have seen more of his Dom side. I think that facet of his life was not fully explored.
Now Scott was another matter altogether. Whereas I admired Ben for his strength, Scott endeared himself to me because of his vulnerability and innocence. I loved his curiosity to learn about life, his uncomplicated way of seeing things and how openly he displayed his emotions.
But truthfully, I don't think Ben and Scott were a good match. Try as I might I just could not see it. Although I enjoyed the interactions between Ben and Scott, I didn't feel that their connection was established completely. Maybe this had to do with the fact that most of the time they spent their time apart and I only got told and not shown about some of the times they shared.
The story as a whole was not bad, but it wasn't great either. I found that there were things left unresolved, events that were unnecessary and a lack of emotional connection between the MCs.
All in all, a good story with interesting characters.

Ben Winters, drops his sister off at the airport and finds a lost Scott.
Scott relates his story to Ben , who request assistance from Leo & Thomas to solved the issue with Scott.
Scott goes with Ben , they are living and helping each other. Scott makes a friendship with Peter and Alex and discovers he is a submissive and wants a Dom.
Many decisions are made that will cost Ben precious things until he needs to decide what is more important.
Because Scott only wants to have Someone to Keep him.
