As some of you know, I’m not only an author and a parent, but I’m also a Novice Sister with the Brew City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. As part of my Novice work, I’m doing a special project, and well, what else would an author do, but corral other authors into helping put together a donation anthology where all proceeds from its sale (we all donated out stories, and the cover will be donated/paid for by donations, etc.).
It’s called Turn the Page…. and it will benefit the following non-profit, suicide awareness/prevention programs:
-
The Trevor Project (local chapter),
-
the Suicide Prevention Resource Center – UWM (Milwaukee).
This is something I feel very passionate about and hope that my project will help others both in our community and the larger community as a whole.
Turn the Page…. is due out October 7th, and yes, I will keep you updated as the time draws closer. I personally can’t wait to share with you all the great stories, authors, and more that surround this anthology. We will also have a live release party in Milwaukee for those in the area with the Sisters! I can’t wait to meet and greet, in face, while sharing my love of books.
