- Lady and the Tramp - I promise you there are iconic moments in this movie beyond spaghetti and meatballs. If you haven’t watched this film in years give it another chance. I promise you, it’s awesome.
- Dumbo - if you don’t cry during the ‘baby mine’ scene your heart is made of cold hard stone.
- Robin Hood - there’s so many things that should be wrong with this version of Robin Hood, yet it’s still a knock-out. Plus, the fox is foxy. We all think it, maybe I’m the only one brave enough to say it.
- The Little Mermaid - has the best Disney princess. “BUT DADDY I LOVE HIM!” So dramatic. I love it.
- Tangled - it’s better than Frozen.
When I first thought about picking my top 5 favourite Disney movies, I really didn’t expect it to be this hard. In fact, I had to put some rules in place otherwise the list would be more like my top 15! So, I’ve purposely excluded anything live action (which takes Mary Poppins out of the equation) and anything produced by Pixar (excluding Ratatouille and WALL-E). Even with those restrictions this was something of a Sophie’s choice. I really, really love Disney films you guys.
