Danielle Eyer recently moved to Montreal, Canada, to pursue her love for creative writing at Concordia University. She dreams of spending her life writing novels in New York, but for now is content with living in a Big City where she can see as many musicals as her wallet allows. She is terrible at applying eyeliner but isn’t bad with a guitar, and she would be entirely happy to eat nothing but pasta and soup for the rest of her existence. In the meantime, she will continue to look up typewriters online for hours at a time, although she’s never used one and doubts she would enjoy it. Roman Payne said that “all forms of madness, bizarre habits, awkwardness in society, general clumsiness, are justified in the person who creates good art.” Luckily, Danielle benefits from every one of these.
