Eleanor Hawtin is a young British author with a particular interest in sci-fi and fantasy. Eleanor Hawtin grew up in England in a house full of books. After several years of finding novels left on the kitchen table or under her pillow, it was little surprise when she began discovering them lying around in her imagination. She began writing them down, and has not stopped since—except in the literal sense. Now in her twenties, Eleanor is a student at the University of Oxford, where she continues to be surrounded by books, although the sort on her shelves now are considerably less fun to read. When not writing or studying, she can typically be found blogging about feminist issues in her favourite TV shows, role-playing someone a great deal more reckless than she actually is, or enthusing about YA fantasy novels to her fellow members of the university’s science fiction society.
